3D Theme Wine Bottle on the Floor
The last three pictures are the final part of the theme project. I used the second girl to the left for these three images. I thought I did good with placing the 3D objects in a suitable background, which was the most difficult part for me since it took some time. I also learned how to make 3D objects from this assignment. I felt like I made a success in using 3D images, which is good to me. Next time, though, I will have to study a little more on lighting, since I feel like I could have used better education on where I should brighten and darken an image.

Theme
For this week, I had to do a theme project. I chose to draw this girl after trying to come up with a theme. I drew multiple versions of her and ended up decided to use the girl as the theme while while using the multiple versions to satisfy the requirements for the project. While I was working on this, I learned about the usefulness of sketch lines, which allow me to draw more efficiently without so much erasing (a real timesaver when drawing humans). Along the way, I deviated a little in the assignment due to my own interests interferring with production. For one thing, I'm turning in four versions of the same theme instead of three, not that's bad. Next time, I will have to come up with a good guess with what is expected before such instructions are told or before I actually follow them. I had to remove and add colors to follow the instructions exactly as told(they told me to use four colors (I used black, white, gray, and turqouise)). Drawing a human may have been the most difficult part, but it became easier after I used the sketch lines. Overall, I had fun with the project and the detail I used to make the girl made it extremely successful. By the way, she is a damaged robot in two of the versions seen here; let's say the other two involve a boy who's turned into a girl.

Thest last three works are brush projects for the class. They are all quite good to me. I felt each of them were very creative and eye-pleasing. The most challenging part was knowing what to do with this game picture. I learned that it is quite difficult to make computer art without the assistance of other images; I will have to be more concious of those images next time if I want to get the work done faster.

Typographic Waterfall Landscape
I liked making this typographic version of a picture of a waterfall, especially with the words typed being used to indentify what they are supposed to make in a cluster as well as the symbolic colors used to make the words look more like the objects. It was also nice to learn how to use layer masking, which was required to create this piece. Just like with the other assignments, those which I have made previously, I want to be more wary of time next time, not that the assignments I turned in have been turned in late. The main problem I can recall with this assignment is completing the time consuming task of coloring the text, which was not helpful in saving time.
