Fairys and Bears

Why is it that, even with fairys, there is something dark about my art. Oh, well. Don't worry; the girls are cool with this. The most difficult part was probably fixing up the image in the back, which had some visible pixels from being enlarged. I learned that taking care of such pixels can be somewhat difficult to do perfectly, even though blurring can help and was what I used. I feel like I could have done better with the dialogue, but fairys do heal people and it makes sense to do so whenever the person in question gets hurt from trying to tame bears. Right? Other than that, I honestly like this piece, since it has the twist of turning someone into a fairy rather than just having a fairy made from the image of a person; the latter felt too trite. To add some light to this piece, I will admit this is an inside joke based on what is often said in Computer Art and Animation class. "Bears!"

The Robot Cowboy

The Robot Cowboy from Death Wish on Vimeo.

Altough I could have done better with the timing, which, for me, is the most difficult part of the assignment since I am a slow worker, this Flash production is a masterpiece. I liked that I put in dialogue and side effects during the movie. During the time spent on the assignment, I learned about how to fix the animation and sound lag (the two did not syncronize for some time during the making of the movie).

Absolute Zero Beach

I think this piece is very creative and is a worthy eye pleaser. Overall, I had fun editing certain images to make them look frozen, which I learned from an online tutorial. Next time, though, I think I should make a more timely approach, which attempting to do was the hardest part for me. Other than that, I really like this piece of computer art.
